In old versions of eXo Platform, each application (for example, Calendar, Wiki, Forum) contains its own stylesheet. These stylesheets are independent, so if you want to change the style of only one UI component in an application, you just modify some CSS values. But if you want to change the whole theme, you have to modify hundreds of values that is really a nightmare. Since eXo Platform 4.2, one new solution has been found - with Skin module, you are able to modify the entire skin of eXo Platform by updating a few variables in a unique .less file.
